school pool

I think that the school pool should not be taken down because everyone need to know how to swim because new zealand has water all around us.

Habitat boxes

A Habitat box is a shoes box that we made for a african big 5 animal that lives,eats,plays and hunts in.In my Habitat box their is grass,a tree,stream and mud and lots more.

The hardest part to do was the tree because i had to cut out lots of berries.

I am most proud of the background because it was so hard to find and i found it.

Our school production

I am a part of the south african group.I am performing  in the gumboot dance and am also a elephant. We start off doing a gumboot dance,A gumboot dance was a dance native to south african people did to protest. It is now offern performed at welcoming ceremonies then we sing and dance to the lion sleeps tonight song. I am most nervous about performing in front of every one.

Friendship boxes

In room 14 we made friend ship boxes and when we finish our jobs we check the check of list a see who we are writing a specific,nice,kind and sweet message to that day and then we get out our writing books and then write a message to them about something amazing that they did that day and then we put our name next to the person that we write a note to.

Seven Sharp Interview Last Wednesday

1. Last Wednesday room 14 and the year 6s from last year meet up and had some special visitors which were Doug Wilson and his wife Mrs Wilson , Erin and Dave from seven sharp, Bill the man that published the room 14 book.

2. The most exciting part was when we all got a book and we all found our names in the book.

3.One thing I learnt was when you are on T.V. you need to do things over and over.

4.The part I most enjoyed was meeting Doug Wilson again.

5.I will all ways remember being on T.V.

Colour poem

Green is the colour of the trees swaying in the fresh,cold wind,

Black is the colour of moppy water that soaks into the wet mop,

Red is the colour of a bright traffic light telling the zooming cars to slow down,

Yellow is the colour of a banana pealing it's self to to death,

Blue is the colour of the sea that shimmers as the night rushes to come,

White is the colour of the clouds that sway throw the light blue sky.

Seven Sharp Interview

This week room  is going to be on TV because the author Doug Wilson made a book about room 14 and we were lucky enough to get the book published. It will be published on the 13th of July 2015.

The author Doug Wilson wrote the Room 14 books and the other books that he wrote are:

The title of our book is Don't mess with these kids.

The book is about room 14 at camp and the Waikato government taking over all of the schools in Waikato.

I am most exited to be on TV.
